Spring and Summer

1. Make a difference. Plan a family service project. This may involve painting an elderly neighbor’s house, planting trees in the neighborhood, or holding a drive for children’s toys or books.
2. Go camping, a great adventure for your family.
3. Camp in your own back yard, kids love it.
4. Scrap booking, have the family go through old photos and organize them and reminisce over old memories.
5. Volunteer at a local food shelter, as a family.
6. Fly a kite.
7. Plant a garden together. Growing and caring for a few plants will help your children learn responsibility, and will be a fun way to spend time in your backyard.
8. Get a book on astronomy and go stargazing at night.
9. Ride bikes together.
10. Take a skill class together. Learn a new skill together.
11. Have a barbeque and invite over friends.
12. Set up a family web page.
13. Plan a family night. Movies and dinner.
14. Make a movie. Use the video camera and plan, act, and direct, your own family movie.
15. Set a play station tournament at your house. Use what ever games your kids have and who cares if they can destroy you, have fun.
16. Play tag or Frisbee, or just toss a ball around.
17. Do some spring cleaning, garage, attic, or junk room. Then have a yard sale and use the money for family fun.
18. Go to an amusement park.
