Parenting Stories

We would like to have anyone who has a parenting story about their parents please send us an E-mail so they can be nominated for “Parent of the Month”.

Each month we will select a Parent of The Month from the nominations E-mail it to us. The parent of the month will be featured on this page, including their story.

Several famous parenting stories examples:

*Because we lead busy lives, our children will come to us most often when we are in the middle of other work. Fathers, who can give their attention to their children, at least long enough to see what is being asked, are truly special. Some of Abraham Lincoln’s cabinet members complained that Lincoln would willingly drop everything to attend to his children when they interrupted his White House meetings.

*Harmon Killabrew’s (Hall of Fame Baseball player) father used to play baseball with his sons in the backyard of his home. His mother used to complain about how the boys would tear up the grass. His Dad would reply “we are raising boys not grass”.
